Is Colonial Springs fully private?

Yes!  This is Colonial’s fifth year as a fully private club.

Tell me about the “club” atmosphere.

Colonial is for people of all skill levels who love the game of golf.  Our members often tell us that the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, not pretentious or stuffy.

How good are Colonial’s golfers?

It’s a real mix.  We have a number of single digit handicaps as well as golfers who are new to the game.  Our golf professional would be more than happy to assist you in any way.

Is the course crowded?  Will I be able to get the starting time I want?

With 27 holes, and the members divided between full and weekday memberships, the course is not crowded and getting your tee time is not a problem.  Click on “Rounds Played” to see a sampling of daily play last year.

I don’t play with a regular foursome.  Will it be difficult to team up with other members?

A lot of our members have joined as singles.  As you schedule your play, we will try to pair you up with others who have similar handicaps, if you like.

If I’m interested in joining, what is the process?

The process is incredibly simple.  You meet with Karen McArdle to choose which membership is right for you, fill out a short application, pay ½ of this year’s dues, and play!

Membership Director, Karen McArdleIf you have any further questions, our Membership Director, Karen McArdle, will be more than happy to answer them!  You can give her a call at 631-643-1050 ext. 22 or request further information.

"What attracted us to Colonial Springs, in addition to the beautiful 27-hole layout, was the opportunity to meet other couples who share an interest in golf as well as enjoy the social aspect of the club.  Our interaction with management, staff, and fellow members has made for a great experience.  Joining Colonial Springs is one of the best decisions we have made."
